While we are fully occupied with understanding the effects and potential of Web 2.0 as way of life, commercial platform and marketing strategy the discussion about Web 3.0 is already going on for some time. Web 3.0, also known as Semantic Web is something different than Web 2.0. For those interested to learn more there is already a lot online, I recommend as introduction a speech of the father of the Web (1.0) Sir Tim Berners-Lee held recently in Long Beach CA about what he calls Linked Data.
